Visual Artist
Ana Nobre born in 1979, in Lisbon.
Graduated in Fine Art in 2005 (ESAD, Caldas da Rainha), and in 2019 finished the Graphic Design professional course (ETIC_Algarve).
Currently she teaches Visual Arts and Painting, develops workshops and Painting Ateliers.
In 2014, moved to Algarve, Lagoa, where she’s been exploring even more her Art, and participates in several Artistic projects such as mural and electricity boxes paintings.
She developd the ReciclArte project, a partnership with Lagoa’s Council, that consists in Arts and craft books, step by steps activities with upcycled materials.
In 2020 she released the fantasy book “ O Lugar das Coisas Estranhas”, published by Emporium.

In 2021 she started upcyling old clothes and giving them a new life. Simultaneously she started collecting old pieces of wood and wooden fruit boxes and creating decorative pieces such as masks. Then with other upcycled materials she starter creating other accessories such as hats, caps, shoes, rag dolls, kieshains, among others.
Her painting were published in Art International Contemporary Magazine 2019 (Jan/Feb; Sept/Oct; Nov/Dec), in the Art catalog WeContemporary 2018 from MUSA International Art Space, in the Art Book 100 Artists of the Future 2019 by Contemporary Art Curator.
She recieved several Art Prizes such as International Art Prize Giotto, Lisbon, Portugal; International Art Prize Botticelli, Florence, Italy; 3 rd Painting and Drawing Prize, Chess, by the Chess club from Alto do Minho, Portugal; 3rd Painting and Drawing Prize, Padre João Maia 2011, by Vila de Rei Council; 3 rd Prize, Ponte de Sôr, Painting the city, by Ponte de Sôr Council, Portugal.
